Makayla P. Baker is a psychotology major at Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville. Upon graduation December 2021 she plans to pursue a masters in school psychology. She has completed an internship with SIUE head start program ages 2-4. She has also been a program aide to the Boy Scouts of America in the East St. Louis and Cahokia school districts for over two years. Makayla has also been involved in various community service activities for youth developmenttrough Signa Gamma Rho sorority Inc. such as the youth symnopsis, 40 days of nonviolence, and operation Big Book Bag. She is also a member of National Society of Leadership and Success. Makayla is passionate about being a positive role model for the youth and she is commited to making a difference in her community.
